About

Isabella Baquerizo (Izzy) is a multidisciplinary designer from Ecuador, with strong interpersonal skills and a deep understanding of color theory, typography, and composition.

Based in Brooklyn, Izzy works remotely as a Design Director for B3 Marketing. Passionate about community & storytelling, Izzy maintains a visual journal on Instagram under @awyeahizzy. She is currently working on an alumni art show for Florida Gulf Coast University, set to open in October 2025. In her free time, Izzy nannies, goes to the movies, paints, goes for walks, and reads. She is passionate about environmental sustainability, social activism, co-living gardens and communities.

ARTIST STATEMENT

I capture everyday moments between conversations, relationships, feelings, and concepts that had an impact on me, in order to make the experience tangible. My process usually begins by journaling and drawing in my sketchbook, and then digitalizing the images. This evokes a mindfulness that helps me dig deeper into my subconscious and gives me a sense of comfort and understanding. My goal is to create something that’s emotive, humorous, and relatable.
